Your one-stop shop for premium home, office and garden gifts!
Mouse & Fork is the business partnership of entrepreneurs Tisa Watts (CEO) and Lori Kendall (CFO) of the San Francisco Bay Area. Tisa writes:
The Internet is great for finding products that may be difficult to obtain locally. It’s also a great way to buy and ship gifts, especially for friends and family that live beyond our usual travel circuit.
What’s not so great is the overwhelming number of choices on an endless array of websites! Plus I found it frustrating to spend money on something that doesn’t feel like just the right gift. The Scots-Yankee side of my personality can’t stand buying purely decorative—yet useless—items. My playful, design-loving side can’t abide gadgets and gifts that lack style, durability, and a touch of the “fun factor.”
We love housewares!
You can see where this is going. What I needed was a simple, one-stop gift shop that offers a thoughtful number of fantastic choices, a place where I know the products are first-class and truly appreciated by the recipient. A website that makes my friends and family feel like I knew what they truly wanted.
Mouse & Fork is the result of our desire to offer wonderful, practical gifts that can be chosen quickly and sent without hassle. We offer stylish, top-quality gift sets designed for home chefs, office professionals, and enthusiasts of various kinds. We comb through catalogs, shops, and trade shows so YOU can have a flair for creative—yet practical—gift-giving.
SPECIAL UPDATE: In 2012, the need for a different kind of gift site became evident. The comment I hear a lot is, “I just don’t know what to get.” While lots of websites offer a variety of gifts to suit every whim, there was a need to address the questions of How, What, When, Where, and especially, Why to give a particular gift. Our answer? We created our sister site, MouseAndForkGifts.com. Here, you can get fun gift-giving advice, Top 10 gift suggestions (with links), useful How-To instructions, monthly holiday calendars, and irreverent—yet informative—commentary.
NOTE: The email newsletter for both sites is the same—sign up for either, and get one newsletter each time.
